“Imagine walking into a solar company’s office with 50 or 100 of your neighbors and saying, ‘We all want to get solar. What kind of deal can you give us?’”
Solar United Neighbors is a non-profit that helps people all over the country to get solar panels installed on their homes. Its solar co-ops bring neighbors together to learn about solar and get their systems installed at a discounted group rate. I rewrote the text of the landing pages, simplifying the concepts and outlining the most important benefits to readers.
”My heart broke when I pictured these piglets enduring the crash. And when I learned they were put back on the truck after being caught, it wrecked me. I know the misery and violence
that awaited them at their ‘destination.’”
Vegan Outreach educates people about vegan eating and helps them transition their diets and lifestyles. The organization relies on funding from generous donors. I wrote the year-end solicitation letters, bringing in thousands of dollars. This is one example, from 2019.

Why Go Veg serves up fresh facts for veg-curious folks. As a member of the content team, I draft social media posts that plant seeds online. This post for Human Rights Day and Animal Rights Day is just one example.
